ISLAMABAD: The Met Office said that very hot and dry weather is expected to prevail in the plains of Punjab, KP, Sukkar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Hyderabad, Naseerabad, Makran and Sibbi divisions for the next couple of days.
Moreover, light rain along with thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The temperature recorded in various areas of country on Tuesday were Sibbi, Noorpurthal, Bhakkar, Rahim yar khan, Khanpur 47°C, Dadu, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Larkana, Sukkur, Shorkot 46°C, Multan, DG Khan, Kot addu, Jacobabad, Faisalabad, DI Khan, Jhang 45°C.
